AZOWO offers new mobility platform for fleet managers

0

Not from Berlin or Munich, no from Biberach near Ulm is the startup AZOWO. The smart founders have developed a mobility platform that will enable small and medium-sized enterprises and urban transport decision-makers to manage their respective fleets via the cloud.

Fleet Management in the Cloud

In this way, the fleet can be digitally managed and optimised more transparently and efficiently. The fleet management software “Fleet Management” is the second product of the young company. It enables comprehensive digital management of vehicle fleets, regardless of size or vehicle type. In a digital vehicle file, all data and documents relating to a specific vehicle can be viewed directly and online. Optionally, the vehicles can be equipped with a telematics unit, which allows additional data, such as mileage and tank levels, to be recorded in real time. Functions such as driver and damage management and the creation of reports can also be managed easily and clearly using the solution.

Eine Kosten-Reduktion von 40%

The fleet management software can be combined with the existing mobility sharing solution to manage fleets of classic company cars and jointly used vehicles. “The special feature of our solution is that it does not matter how the fleet is composed. We enable flexible management of all types of mobility, whether cars, scooters, bicycles, vans or electric cars,” says Peter Jegutzki, CEO and co-founder of AZOWO.

Customers use the solution primarily for their internal corporate car sharing

The customer base includes Kreissparkasse Biberach, the logistics service provider Liefery, the residential construction company Metzger+Co and the furniture fittings manufacturer Hettich. You already use AZOWO’s mobility sharing software successfully in the area of corporate car sharing.

So far AZOWO cooperates with medium-sized companies, institutions, delivery services and care services or patient transports. “Many companies want to use electric vehicles, but could hardly integrate them into their work processes, especially because of their short ranges. Our software provides an overview of the battery status, which makes it much easier to allocate and manage the E-fleet”.

Optimum utilisation of the entire vehicle fleet

The AZOWO platform ensures an optimal utilization of the fleet and the trips can be automatically booked to the corresponding cost centers and billed for private trips in a more differentiated manner. Thanks to the clear display with graphic disposition, the fleet manager has a quick overview of current reservations as well as damage and vehicle condition documentation. Excess fleet capacity is also identified and can be eliminated. “Since the cars are available around the clock with our technology, costs can be reduced by up to 40 percent,” emphasises Patrick Schneider, who is responsible for research and development at AZOWO GmbH.

“AZOWO stands for new ways of thinking in terms of mobility that go far beyond traditional fleet management. We are focusing on new mobility concepts that should encourage a sustainable rethinking, especially in the B2B sector: For example, we find cooperation in the public sector very exciting,” said the founder.

In June this year, AZOWO collected millions from Berlin-based Investor Project A, the investment company of Kreissparkasse Biberach, Chancenkapital BC and Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg MGB.
